Yet another spare-of-the-moment, and unsolicited, donut-themed birthday illo I posted on voice talent extraordinaire Jim Cutler’s facebook page.
The Heartbreaking Tale Of 8 Box Crayola Boy | Scribble-Dee-Doo-Dahs #052
Originally doodled up August 29, 2020 as a comment to a Facebook post by TV announcer and donut connoisseur Jim Cutler.
In short, Jim recalls a particular haunting elementary school memory where his coveted box of 8 Crayola color crayons was upstaged by a fellow student Melissa "somebody" with her brand new 64 color box!
There's a whole video about it - well, a segment of (play at 4:09) - the actual video below is more to do with banned Crayola colors:
Behold! The Garden Of Bacon! | Scribble-Dee-Doo-Dahs #030
Here’s another Scribble-Dee-Doo-Dah, drawn specifically as a mere facebook comment.
Voice-talent guy Jim Cutler, well-known connoisseur of the humble donut, shared this photo in his social feed - the Papyrus-heavy signage of Garden Of Bacon in Sea Cliff, NY.
Admit it - just reading the establishment’s name made you drool!
My comment to his post, in toon form, is featured below:

A Special Birthday Doodle - Complete With Extra Donut Holes!
Just a birthday illo I posted on Jim Cutler’s facebook page - a talented voice actor-type guy I’ve admired since, literally, hearing of his existence via his Serving Donuts podcast (2008-2009). If you’ve ever watched & listened to North American TV & radio, chances are you would’ve heard his voice at some point. Just check out his credits for pete’s sake!
If you can’t tell, Jim’s a big fan of the donut.

Waiting for a guy to come 'round and fix a leaky roof... and waiting... and waiting... gave me time to scribble out more nonsense.
A Bunch Of Ol' Battlestar Galactica Gags | From The Starlog Toon Archives
Behold! Battlestar Galactica toons!
These are, I think, ALL the BSG gags I did for Starlog over the years. there actually may be many more - I can’t recall every gag I did. Anyone having more-than-enough free time can browse every Starlog mag online from 1998 to 2009… please, let me know if you find a BSG-related gag that should belong here.
This post was inspired by a random Battlestar Galactica-referenced facebook post by Jim Cutler (you may recognize his voice over promos from MSNBC, Discovery Channel, et al).
Anyhoo, if your stomach can handle it, please enjoy the following:
